Ms. Joan Ramstedt,  is a highly experienced and creative professional with over 20 years of accomplishments in executive search, staffing program strategy and execution, business coaching, and career & leadership development. Her passion is derived from working with small and emerging growth companies during times of transition and with entrepreneurs & solopreneurs, who are seeking to take their businesses to the next level.

My Story:  An Eternal Optimist

Her long relationship with the various cultures of the high technology sector, has led to a primary belief that all individuals are looking for ways of achieving fulfillment and a sense of purpose in their professional and personal lives. This she believes can be accomplished, by creating balanced life and work environments that promote and encourage individual expression and positive support. In a response to this need, as well as the needs of the business, a mutual stage is being set for both individual and organizations to create new and innovative environments that inspire and value the workspace.

In addition, she designs and delivers presentations and workshops to private groups, organizations, educational and community based organizations. Sample topics include: “Get Out of Your Head and into Your Heart” job search techniques, “Bringing Purpose and Passion into Your Career” and “Principles of Magnetic Leadership”. She is a regular guest speaker at WorkNet, Saddleback Valley College, and Cal State University, Fullerton, Business School. Other recent speaking engagements include Borders Books “Contemporary Recruitment Topics”, and the Orange County SQL Server Users Group, “Principles of Magnetic Leadership”

Joan is a co-founder of HeartAffects (www.heartaffects.com), an organization dedicated to supporting individuals who are interested in incorporating the principles of creativity into their work and personal lives. She is also a member of and on the faculty for the Foundation for Inspired Learning (www.inspiredlearning.org).

Joan has given her time to and is interested in various community based and national organizations such as, Youth Employment Services (YES), currently Vice-President and Board Member & past Chair of Program Development; Orange County Employment Managers Association (OCEMA), International Coaching Federation (ICF), Human Resources Independent Consultants of Southern California, (HRIC) Southern California Software Council, Women in Technology (WITI).

Credentials:

Ms. Ramstedt, graduated, with honors, from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Sociology and attended California State University, Long Beach working on an MBA. She is also a Certified Life Coach.
